Manual setup for Google News, Discover, and search discovery. No API key required — only your Google account and Search Console verification.
What you need to provide
- Google account with access to Search Console & Publisher Center
- DNS access in Cloudflare (for domain verification TXT record)
- Optional: HTML verification meta tag from Search Console (we add it to
app/layout.tsx)

1. Google Publisher Center
- Go to publishercenter.google.com

5. Timeline expectations
Google News approval often takes 2–8 weeks after consistent daily publishing and verification. Keep the daily brief + RSS ingest crons running.
